Deric Shults is a junior at the University of Oregon and currently pursuing a journalism degree. He loves the outdoors including fishing, hiking, camping and snowboarding. He also is a sports fanatic who enjoys competition exploited at any level. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends who he attributes his successes. Upon graduating from the UO with a journalism degree, Deric plans on pursuing a writing career for a sports magazine where he can combine his love for the outdoors and his passion for writing.
Isabelle Morse-Dias is a junior at the University of Oregon. She is studying Journalism with a focus in Public Relations. Last term she spent months researching and creating multimedia projects regarding domestic violence resources in the local Eugene community. This term she is looking forward to working alongside the other members of the Privacy Troupe while they explore what kind of privacy students are entitled to when it comes to social media content on the Internet.
Maiko Ando is a journalism major student , emphasizing photojournalism, at the University of Oregon. She is from Tokyo, Japan. She likes to shooting photographs and tries to see as many art works as she can to improve her art senses. Shooting photograph helps her to think about things to be clear. And now, she is considering how the privacy on the campus working and decided to have some research for it.
Katie Hall is a standing junior who is majoring in journalism with an emphasis in advertising. She enjoys the performing arts from all aspects. Whether that be behind the scenes with writing, directing and/or visualizing the project, or even being center stage performing. Her plans after graduation are to move to New York City and “spin the wheel” and see what happens. She is relatively optimistic and not all that worried about her future.
